Nozzle came out of the holder (no replies)

I have been having some really bad luck with the printer ... but it just got much worse.
The nozzle has just blown off the holder and is covered in PLA. It was printing ok when I left it but when I came back the hotend nozzile had come completely out of the holder and was covered in PLA.
Can I just clean it up and screw it in or is it more likely I will need a new holder?
