Which 3D printer to build? (5 replies)

Hi! I've been researching 3D printers and I'm still having trouble deciding on one so I was hoping I could get some help here. Which printer would do you think is best for a newbie to build with AND without a kit and why?

I've been going back and forth between the Prusa Mendels i2 and i3, but I'm still open.
