Chinese Stepper Drivers Burned Arduino (no replies)

Dear all

I'm in the process of understanding all the electonics behind my Ultimaker, but this one goes beyond my current (still somewhat basic) knowledge. Please help...

I was about to install a second extruder to my ultimaker, bought all componets from different suppliers, printed some parts myself. So i pluged the heater capsule (original from ultimaker), plugged a stepper driver that I ordered from china, pluged a stepper motor (4 cable, also from china), didn't plug the therocouple amplifier unit and the thermocouple yet. Then I pluged the USB and the Power Supply and wanted to update my firmware for the second extruder. But there was no connection and the led on the Ramps as well as the led on the thermocouple ampliefier board slowly fainted and eventually blackened. Attached the picture of both the stepper drivers (I believe I caused some trouble with this ones. Unfortunately I assumed they were compatible...). I Plugged the chinese one with the text upside down (see picture) (GND and DIR direction up).

Now each time I plug the USB the leds light up for a moment (depending on how long the USB has been unplugged. The longer unplugged, the longer the leds light up). Any ideas what could have happened and what I should do?

Thanks in advance. Much appreciated, since I've just starting with the whole 3d prining.

DN
