How many of you would purchase an enclosure or cabinet for your printer? (Pics of possible design) (4 replies)

Hello all,
I have been using my Prusa i3 and used the forums many times for troubleshooting. Great place. I was having issues with ambient air and ABS fumes so I made an enclosure. Mine is a prototype and although it works I drafted up a nicer model to look at. I am looking to produce these in my garage if there is a demand.

I am currently using a 80mm fan mounted to a board in a window with a 2.5" dust collection hose to the fitting on the back (see pics) and it works really well. I have visually tested using candle smoke. There is a .125" gap at the bottom of all four sides to allow fresh air to pull from around the base.

The bar across the top holds the roll of filament and it feeds through the top. Frame is .750" aluminum angle. Clear plastic is .093" makrolon (polycarb).

Door has a knob with magnetic latch. Enclosure will need to be assembled due to size and will come with all hardware and instructions.

A few questions:
1.) Would you buy this? Do you feel there is a need for it?
2.) What would you pay?
3.) Do you feel it should be an option for the fume connection outback?
4.) Is the size too big/small? I sampled most reprap external dimensions and it seems like a good size.
