I printed the makerfaire robot and I noticed there is some ooze draping across the arms to the body at each layer which I then have to cut away. , I want to eliminate this extra goup if at all possible.
So i tried printing the oozebane calibration object 2 and wow it looks godawful. (http://reprap.org/wiki/Calibration)
What you are seeing is the result of me trying several things, such as adding z lift by 1 layer height on retraction, wipe on, more retraction: 1.8mm vs the standard 1mm, none of that has made much impact as you can see. (I printed this plate with my default slic3r settings and it did not any better)
anyone know what could be the culprit and what remedies I can try applying?
My printer:
prusa mendel, makergear hotend .35mm nozzle, ramps 1.4, marlin , slic3r 9.10b,
plastic: matterhacker black PLA 1.75mm (more like 1.70 - 1.73mm), EX0 temp 195C, bed temp 70C, extrusion multiplier 0.90
