Can someone just confirm for me what i should be settings my A4988 Black Edt Driver to in regards of Vref.
Iv always just set at 0.4V and not really had issues. But since experimenting with all metal hotends (prusa and E3D V4) extruder motors are just rubbish and giving me a head ache. (Even at 0.6 im still having troubles)
I have ruled out the extruder by trying a few different ones and i get the same problem on all (after a while the stepper motor will struggle to push the filament and start twitching and skipping steps etc.
Current gear is
A4988 Black Edt Driver with Heatsink (also theres a breeze from behind (120mm fan blowing on print area)that will catch the heatsink to help it along)
