The above is what I have. I made a connector that connects the sd reader to the correspondingly labelled connections on the AUX3/SPI of the ramps board:[attachment 23507 RAMPS1.4schematic_Tantillus_connections.JPG]
I tested it and got no errors when it was connected. I ran a M20 command but it wouldn't list any files. The SD card is formatted as FAT16 with a file named print.gcode and later I tried print.gco as I thought perhaps the file names were the problem. Did I wire it wrong? Do I need to switch some of the connections around? The LED on the sd reader lights up, so it has got 5v on the 5v rail on the ramps.
