It seems like people are managing to get the Arduino Mega to switch their PSU's on and off using software and connection to the PS_ON pin.
This requires the Arduino to run off the +5VSB rail, however the Arduino is rated for supply voltages of 6-20V(Limits) or 7-12V(Recommended).
If the Arduino Mega is to run off the +5VSB rail, should a boost converter be used to give the Arduino the minimum 7V it requires?
Help would be much appreciated
