Can't adjust steps per mm

This is solved. I was being stupid and made a hasty post (getting lazy).

Hi,

I have tried changing the value in the configuration.h. Drive system is set to 3, so it should be in effect

I have also tried setting eprom mode back to 0 from 2 (it's back to 2 now).

Finally, I have tried to set the change with an m206 command. M205 returns

EPR:3 3 98.43 X-axis steps per mm

So I used:

m206 3 3 78.35

But after this, m205 still shows the old value.

Any help much appreciated.

Edit: sorry read the docs wrong. Missed out the T, P and X
