Hot Head getting too hot with current not shutting off (1 reply)

Hello,

I have just finished building my first Mendel and I have tried three times to print a cube. Every time I start it up, the print takes a few minutes to begin and after the first few layers the current to the hot head will not shut off. The temperature gets very high and I have to stop the print. This does not happen when I am playing around with the motors while the hot end is on, it stays at the set temperature.
