Hi, Still working on my design. I had to take a break from building for awhile due to lack of funds and parts, but now I am back up and running.

I have come up with a frame that is suitable for a mini CNC mill or 3D printing. Same frame, different gantries and slides.

Frame size is 1000 long x 500 mm high x 500mm wide.

Build area for a 3D printer should be around 900x400x400mm That is FIVE (5) Cubic feet.

Frame is constructed from powder coated 5mm steel plate. Does not include gantry, slides, or moving parts. Frame is TIG welded. Also available as a bolt together model for additonal 2000 pesos.

If used for a mini milling machine, it is set up so that all the motors are at the top of the machine and out of the way of waste chips, cutting oil, etc.

Cost for this frame is 15k pesos. build time is 10 days.

You will need 2 people to carry this.
