I finished building my printer and want to start printing while i am doing something else.
I was hopping to print without my laptop connected to the printer, and sins i got a smartcontroller i thought i could do this by printing from SD.
setup:
Marlin1.0.0
RAMPS 1.4
Smart controller from Reprapdiscount (bought about 4 months ago)
when i insert the 4Gig card i got with the controller it displays "card inserted" BUT when i look in the menu it says "no card".
I have been looking around for a solution, but have not found one until now.
I notesed that when i connect to the printer with pronterface it comes up with the following message "echo: SD init fail"
I am using the short ribbon cables,
the SD came with the controller
I am using .g insead of .gcode (dosnt matter, it dosnt even recognize the folders.)
atemts to acses the sd with pronterface faild. again "echo: SD init fail"
I checked the pins.h (i copied the part for ramps and added it in the post.)
I tried anothe SD (2Gig) and this gave the same result
