what 3d printer to buy? (2 replies)

hello,

i don't know if it's the right place to ask,

but this is my problem. i have try to buy the Solidoodle 3 for a month now. but for some reason they won't acept my credit card. (Not a problem on my part) look like to be a problem with the app to validate the payment. did try to get in touch with them but to no result.

Anyway. I have decided to look elsewhere.

However I have no idea. the solidoodle 3 was kinda perfect (price range.) and had a good comunity behind it. lot of documentation and i kind of knew what the end result was...

do you have any recomandation?

I' have looked at the rapidbot 2.0 or 3.0 but I didn't find any review and they don't have a dedicated forum.
I have look at the Panter 3D Printer but they don't show sign of life (on line) since 3 month now. the blog on there web page is 6 month old.

Anyway being a noob in the mater I'm lost.
can you help me.

my basics need are this

price range MAX $999 preferably $700
surface min 8x8,
able to print PLA and ABS.
"not a kit".
and I prefert that they look like a cube ^^
and preferably steel or aluminium casing.
