If anyone could help me with this issue, I'd appreciate it -
When I print, theres about a 25% chance that at some point the hot end will just start to rise in temp and cause me to hit max temp at 240C. I've run the PID tuning and adjusted the numbers in the firmware to try to get more stable temps, but no difference. It seems to happen at a variety of print speeds, and makes printing large objects frustrating when they fail because of this.
my printer is a makerfarm i3, jhead, ramps 1.4, marlin firmware. if that helps.
