Hi reprap world, I have little experience with reprap 3d printers I purchased a maker farm prusa v2 some time ago running printrboard. Back in early 2012
I have just finished printing up all the components and build a new prusa v2 I have decided to run ramps 1.4 with marlin firmware for this build.
I have a couple of troubles I cannot seem to clear up.
My first issue is that after I do a home all my axis move to the correct position and appear happy, so I send a print to the printer and the X and Y axis move a few millimetres and make a screaming noise then they take off and the printer will print as it should.
Next is back when I set up my firmware for printrboard I recall in the firmware setting the pulleys and threaded rod info to get the axis movements correct, in the latest release from GitHub I cannot find this in the firmware, It appears it was replaced with a new formula with all axis being affected by the one formula. So if my z is only moving 3mm when I command a 10mm move, and my x and y appear to be within a millimetre for a 100mm move and my extruders is only extruding 48 of a 50mm extrude length. how can I adjust just z height? Or extruder length?
I have had no success googling a in depth description on the calibration procedures.
I'm currently at work so I am unable to post my config or any pics, I hope the description helps.
Thanks, ash.
